Welcome to Syntia! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services provided through http://app.syntia.io. By accessing or using our services, you agree to adhere to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

Syntia enables companies to manage and present professional CVs and resumes of their consultants and experts when applying for public tenders and similar selection processes. It is strictly a business-to-business platform.

Services may evolve over time, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at our discretion.

2. Customers and Users

The Service is intended for companies, which are the Customers. Customers are responsible for all activities performed under their accounts.

Users can be employees or professionals working for Customers or individual experts (consultants) who give their consent to Customers for using, managing and stocking their data in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Customer Data and Responsibilities

Customers are solely responsible for the data they upload and must ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable laws. Customers are obliged to ask Users for permission on using their data under GDPR.

Customers and Users agree to refrain from any activity that may harm, disrupt, or interfere with the functionality of the services.

4. Data Protection Roles

On behalf of Customers, DEUUX S.à.r.l. acting under the trading name of ‘Syntia’ act as Data Controller. Sprint CV – Consultoria e Software Unipersonal as Data Processor.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform rights belong to DEUUX S.à.r.l. and its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our explicit permission. Customers and users retain ownership of their data.

6. Fees and Subscription

Subscriptions may apply. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law or agreed between the parts.

7. Availability

We aim to ensure reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEUUX S.à.r.l. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the services. Liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months. No indirect damages are covered.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

Accounts may be terminated for breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Luxembourg law. This covers commercial relations and disputes the Service provider DEUUX S.à.r.l. and Customers. Disputes between Data Controller and Data Processor on the use of Syntia are governed by Portuguese Law.
